Building upon the results of a previous workshop (www.proneteurope.eu) we will continue the exchange of practical experiences with the improvement of air quality and reduction of traffi c-related noise. Practitioners, scientists and decision makers from European regions are invited to present their good practice examples. In addition, there is the opportunity to get an insight into the views of the DG Environment of the EU Commission and to get to know the progresses on the methodology of economic valuation of transport-related health effects developed by the WHO. Finally, recommendations for future policies in the fi eld of transport, environment and health will be discussed.
